One Last (very quickie) Halloween card

Those pumpkins? - you remember

These pumpkins
Completely new look for them

I made them different sizes
- coloured then with different shade groups of Copics
and mounted them with 1mm (really thin ones) foam pads. It is not really deep - but it does make all sorts of interesting shadows
Well that's all for Halloween from me for this year (promise)

Cute Pirate

Ahoy Me Hearties!

This is Cute Pirate...and she is cute! Don't ya think?? You can find her here in the SNB store.

I made this an easel card so she can really stand up.

I colored her with copics and added Gelly Roll Clear Stardust glitter onto her sword handle. I put a nice thick layer of Diamond Glaze to shine up her boots. I just love the netting that I had left over from a Luau party I had years ago. I knew one day I would need it again! LOL. A few rhinestones and done!!
If you would like any more details, please visit my blog here.

Warm Apple Cider

Now, that the weather is turning cool and the leaves on the trees are changing; I have been thinking about hot apple cider and Carmel apples. I have created a card using a digital stamp from Stretch N' Bubbles called 'Dot Cups.'

This digital stamp comes along with another 'Dot Cup' design which has whip cream on top. These images would be great to use; for when someone is not feeling well (cup of soup), Birthdays, Valentines day and who doesn't like either coffee or hot chocolate. The image is available in the SNB store here.

If you want to see more of my work, you're welcome to visit my personal blog. Stay warm, D'Anne.

Kitten calling

I just love the shape of this beautiful image from Alison - it could be a prom dress or a wedding dress. In the SHOP HERE.

The dress is layered - I shaped it up and used silicone glue to mount it. I prefer using silicone glue to raiser pads because it holds a nicer shape. Loads of tiny gems and half pearls at the top - I use nail gems because they are smaller than normal card makers gems.
The papers - don't know - have been knocking about for ages - it was a 6" square that I cut in half to get the big triangle shape - then tucked under a co-ordinating pattern

You can find him here in the store.

If you would like more info about my card, please visit my blog.

I don't normally like shoe images - but I love this one from Stretch n Bubbles.  I think it's because It is much more goth/grunge/witch than glam

The colouring is very simple Copic - just a bit of blending in the shoes.  The greeting is part of the digi too so you don't have to worry about that.  It is nicely below so you could cut it off if you wanted.  The swirly bit on the side is punched and sewn through with dark orange thread and whipped with gold

Leea - an autumn girl

Hi all! Gunvor here!

The colours of autumn are my favourites, and when I saw Alison's lovely image Leea I just knew that she was an autumn girl: wellingtons on her feet and the wind playing with her dress and the wash on the clothes line. The image was really perfect for an autumn card, together with some old paper from my stash, some buttons and two pieces of sheer ribbon.

You can find the image here in the SNB shop.

Thanks for looking!

/Gunvor

PS! "Höst" is "Autumn" in Swedish.

Kitten calling

I think I must be in a cutting out mood at the moment

This little chappie is 'Flit' and available here from the Stretch n Bubbles shop

First thing I thought - look super on a little stick as a gift tag for a plant pressie - you can all cope with this.
Double sided with a cocktail stick or bit of garden cane in the middle

Then I thought - what if I cut an aperture in a card so I can put a backing paper inside - then tuck a cut out birdie into the bottom and raise it over the background?

- So that's what I have been doing this afternoon!

Have fun

Kitten xx

A Friend in Me Girl

Hello this is D'Anne. Today, I have a card to share with you using the new digital stamp called 'A Friend in Me, Girl.' This stamp would be great for Christmas, Winter, friendship and Birthday's cards, gift projects or tags.

As I started creating this card, the song "You've Got a Friend in Me" came to mine. It goes something like this....

You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you're miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
You just remember what your old pal said
Boy, you've got a friend in me
Yeah, you've got a friend in me

You can purchase the digital stamp here. It would be cute to do a spotlighting technique on the penguin. You're welcome to visit my personal blog to see how this idea turned out.

Hi all! Gunvor here.

I just love autumn! The crispy air, the lovely colours in nature (my favourite palette!) - for me, life doesn't get much better. And Alison really has some lovely autumn stamps in her shop, like the apple basket image I used for this box card. I really enjoyed colouring it and when finnished, I decided to keep the the card design simple to really show the image.

Kitten calling

This wonderful pumpkin is available HERE
I have a new publishing program for my images (pageplus).  I inserted the image 4 times - made than all different sizes - and layered them together.  Then I copied the 2 pumpkins on the front and pasted them below so that I could decoupage them.
The whole white centre is one piece - I printed the pumpkins in the corner - allowed for the size I needed - and cut it to size with a deckle edge.  Then I matted it with an orange paper and hand made black paper

Halloween is my favourite time of year for images - love 'em

Window / tree hanger

 When I saw this image

I though it would make a pretty hanger for my window.

I inserted the image into my Page plus program, copied it  and flipped one so that the images faced different ways.

Then I coloured it with Copics - cut it out - and stuck them back to back - with a loop of gold thread in the middle top hang it up with.

This would make a great Christmas tree decoration project for the kids too.
