Pumpkin

Here is a clean and simple card using SNB's Pumpkin (2010) image...

I've created a little punchie flower, and added a little lace.  Please visit my blog to learn more about the card.  Don't forget to stop by the SNB Shop to peruse all the goodies... the pumpking image is available now! Thanks for peepin!

"Elf shoes"

Some of Alison's images are soo versatile!

For Halloween she created an image with Witch shoes. But with the holliday magic all around us, they have now turned into a pair of elf shoes ;)

You can get those magical shoes here in the SNB shop - be sure to pick them up!

I used the image for a Christmas card in traditional colours and decorations.
As usual, if you'd like to know a little more about my cards, your welcome to visit my personal blog.

Thanks for looking!

Snowman squared

Hello all! Gunvor here.

It's a winter wonderland outside my window so there's no problem getting inspiration for winter- and Christmas cards.

For this card I used the cute little image "squared snowman". It's a perfect image for a fast Christmas card such as this one: easy colouring, a few layers of cardstock and patterned paper and a sentiment - done!

You find Squared Snowman here in the SNB shop. Be sure to pick him up!

Thanks for looking!

Charity

To start your week off, I would like to share a card I created with a digital stamp called 'Charity' from the store. I have noticed lace is being used on many projects. I thought why not give it a try on this project. I'm pleased how it turned out.

If you want to see more of my work, you're welcome to visit my personal blog. Have a great week, your friend D'Anne.

Feed The Birds

Happy Black Friday All,

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (to our US pals). Isn't this the cutest snow globe you ever did see? I just love this image! It is named "Feed the Birds." You can find it here in the store.

Here is a close up of the image, colored with copics. The snow globe was only $2.00 at ACM. I think it makes a great little add-on gift. Please visit my blog for more details on my project.

Have a great weekend!

If Friends Were Flowers

For my project, I used a digital stamp called 'If Friends Were Flowers' from the store.

The sentiment also comes with this set. The is a square card which measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. I also created a envelope by cutting down a standard A2 size. The main image was colored using Copics. Directions on how to make the envelope will be on my blog.

You may purchase this image in the store here. If you want to see more of my work, you're welcome to visit my personal blog. That's all for today, friends! Hope your day is spectacular!

Kitten calling

I am making a serious effort to do more gent's cards.  They always seem to get left out with all the girly stuff out there - and there are some really great male images
This little chappie is from Stretch n Bubbles HERE

And it's a really versatile image.  Next I am going to make him up with a star background - 'you are a star'

But in the meantime

It is not as complicated as it looks.  There is an embossed layer (rubbed over with ink to make the embossing really pop) and behind it, a very busy, colour bright layer -  both are matted.

I was stuck for some sort of embellishment - it needed a 'something' - and it's hard to keep it still bloke-ish - but add something.  I found the candle chipboard detail in my odds box and added a spotty brad in the other corners

You light up my life

Hi all! Gunvor here.

We're moving into the Christmas season and so I've decorated a large match box using the fabulous Rudolph image that comes with a sentiment - "You light up my life". Isn't it just perfect for this? And since I thought it would be a great gift to a hostess, I made a small card with a pocket to go with it:

You find this lovely image in the SNB shop here. Be sure to pick him up -he's really versatile and a lot to fun to use!

As usual, you're welcome to visit my personal blog if you want to know more!

Thanks for looking!

Squared Snowman

Hi Everyone,

This is Squared Snowman. I really love this image. I made him quite large (for a 5" x 5" card) and printed him 3 times...once each on white cardstock, orange pattern and blue dot papers. Then I paper pieced the image which was really easy because of its large and simple design.

I used copic C's for some shadows and dimension. I added some flatback pearls and stickles for a little glitz. For more info, please visit my blog.

Squared Snowman is available in the store here.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs,
Marcy

My friend Earl

Hi all! Gunvor here.

I have spent some time this week end colouring SNB images for winter and Christmas cards. One of the images is this cute image of Earl the penguin - soo cute and versatile! He's good for wintery cards and Christmas cards. In tis case, I started out making a Christmas card but in the end it turned out to be a wintery friendship card (the text means "friendship warms"). I thought I could send it to a friend and include a couple of tea bags as a treat.

You'll find Earl here in the SNB shop (you have to scroll down and go on to "older posts" to find him). Be sure to pick him up!

As always, you can read a little bit more about the card in my personal blog.

Thanks for looking!

Kitten calling

I don't know about you lot - but I have a really bad habit of only doing Christmas cards in red and green.  I don't know what or why - but I always reach for those colours.  So - today I decided to 'force' myself to use pinks/purples.

This wonderfully detailed tree (which is just great for straight colouring in when you want a break from all that shading!) is available in the SHOP - HERE

I was not sure what to do with it - other than I knew I would love all the 'colouring in' bit

So what do you think?  - Different or what?  - Choose some background papers first - then decide what size you want the card (this is 5 1/2" square) - then make your colouring suit the papers.  This is Copics with added gems - liquid pearls - Copic glitter pens (don't ask me to spell it!) - ribbon - and a couple of tags I have had hanging about for years

Kitten calling

At last I got some work done!  Between the dogs colds and my cold I am pretty shattered.

I did get my desk tidied and I used this wonderful new Santa image from the Stretch n Bubbles shop to make a modern Christmas card.

Just by chance - it is the challenge this week - so it's an idea to start you thinking - did not know - honest

Black and white is still really trendy for Christmas, and if you have a serious number to make - this is the perfect idea.

The image is printed on a thick really white laser copy card, matted with silver mirri and then black pearl - and set flat on the card.

I don't do the minimal look - and I don't very often work with black and white - but I have to admit that I quite like this and I might do a dozen for my own use

Have you ever had an idea for a project floating around in your head that you just NEEDED to create? That's what happened to me when I saw the digital image called 'Without You a Piece is Missing.'

kitten calling

Kids love things with their name on don't they?  Here is a quick - simple idea for the playground bunch and very cheep too (really important when you have loads to do)

This little darling is Gumble and available HERE

So I made a door / coat hook hanger.

I cut a 4" Strip of card and covered the bottom part with an amazing 'alien' pattern paper from Crate paper (don't know if it's still available - but this was a wonderful series with space ships, aliens, planets and things).  I just drew round my pencil sharpener to get the circle and trimmed the card to match

Kitten calling

I was lying in bed thinking - like you do - and I thought - how would it work if you printed the notebook cover FIRST - then use the paper to cover the board instead of sticking on the image?

This darling monster is from Stretch n Bubbles HERE

There are several monsters to choose from - collecting them all!

So I made the cover - and made up the book.  It is A6 size so I have to make the image quite big (do you use the 'A' sizes in the USA?)

There is a technique to making a proper book cover - must do a how to on it - it really is worth the effort to get it right.

I used reds - red hinges and the inside of the cover is covered with a red wood effect paper - so perhaps boys might like it too.

Inside are 20 sheets of matching cream card.

Strawberry Cupcake

How come sometimes you can make several cards in an hour and other times it takes many hours to make one card? Well I have created a card for you using the digital stamp called 'Strawberry Cupcake.' I love chocolate and strawberries together.

This image is great for Birthdays, Valentines Day and just to make someone smile. The image is available in the SNB store here. If you want to see more of my work, you're welcome to visit my personal blog. Enjoy, D'Anne.
