New Digital Stamps in shop
Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that there are some new images in the shop now.. :) get them HERE

Girl of the 20s
Here's another vintage beauty for you...she is named Girl of the 20s...
In my creation shown below, I coloured the image with markers, and a water pen hoping to get a mottled, or felted look... which I think I achieved thanks to the fine pen detail in the image itself! I used glaze pen to define her lips. I went to town dressing her with metal embellishments and stitching in some strands of pearls. I used pearlised card for the cardbase.
Visit my blog for details about this card, and my other SNB creations! Don't forget to drop in to the SNB Shop to see the latest images, and to add some fab designs to your collection. Thanks for peepin'!

OK - I am soppy - I know it - but I just love this cute fluffy goosie / duck from Stretch N Bubbles
I was down by the river with little fidget the other day - and there was a new family of the tiniest ducklings - just so amazing. The dog sat quiet as a lamb and watched them having a swimming lesson - I don't think he could work out quite what he was seeing!
So let's keep the duck very simple - I only coloured his beak - and matched the paper to the plain black and white look. For a sunnier look - match the colour to the beak - which you could colour any shade of yellow - orange - or brown (or grays!)

Giggle
This is the most adorable image.... and I believe quite a special image to our SNB Owner/Designer Alison! This image is simply called "Giggle" and it says it all....
I wanted this card to be a bit special - to have almost photographic qualities - so I hope I've achieved them. I've created a monochromatic card, with a smattering of pearl and silver. My big step was to colour the image with charcoal pencil.... what fun! I'll definitely use this medium again.... for all the details on this creation and all my SNB adventures, please visit my personal blog!
It is an older image, first available last year.... but isn't it adorable! You'll find it here in the SNB Shop... thanks for peepin'!

Some of the 'oldies' are still 'goodies' - this saying has been about for years, but it still makes a fab card for a chap. It could be a 'love' type card - or just a bit of fun for a friend or brother - or Father's Day which has crept up so fast I forgot it.
The image is a mushroom from Stretch N Bubbles HERE. coloured with copics - the shading behind the mushroom is a new technique from Copic of lots of teeny tiny dots in the same colours as the image. I am just starting to learn it - but it's quite effective. The image is matted on shiny gold and the mushroom spots are also metallic which makes it look really posh

I have this darling little lamb from Stretch N Bubbles - it is an Easter one - but hay - since did I do what I am told.I love the paper piled up effect. No cutting, no measuring - just take a few off cuts that sit well together - square up all the edges and heap up somehow. These bright bits are all different brands and sizes but look so cool together.
The sheep fleece has a bit of Copic palest yellow reds, just to create a bit of depth - and I am dead chuffed with my 'black' feet

I picked up some page templates with cookie edge shapes. I wanted to use this adorable little Stretch N Bubbles airoplane as the feature on a holiday album.
I love the way the side of the pages have arrows pointing all over the place - really makes you think of going somewnere..
I covered the pages double sided paper - using one side to cover the big back shape and, with the contrasting colour, what was left over to cover the front. There are several card pages in the middle - I kept them small so that you can see the back through the cut out arrow.

Well I don't know about you - but where did May go? I swear someone nicked the middle 2 weeks and now it's June - do you think that means summer will be back?
Right - onwards - todays project. I have used this great image from Stretch N Bubbles HERE.
This is such a useful image. It's a great for either a boy or girl birthday and you could dress it up or keep it plainer like I have and it looks stunning.

This is A6 size and I have made the image very big so it is the total feature on the front. The colouring is copic, the big spots are matching glitter, and the dots at the top are matching gems. Great for us colouring lovers
