Nothing But Time (You Make me Smile)

Hi again, this is Grandma Bonnie. The name of this digital image from Stretch 'N" Bubbles is "Nothing but time" dragon.

What i did:
I colored and cut out the dragon.  Added the background mats and then cut out a photo of one of my grandsons.  I punched out some stars, and a border strip. Printed off the sentiment, "You make me smile" and finished off my card.

  Copics used:
  Belly- E51,02
  Skin- YG01,03,07
  Red- R35
  Nostrils- C5

I chose to make this a photo card, but you could add a sentiment to the front instead.  "You make me smile" could be under the dragon in the rectangle and the star could have a button instead of the small sentiment.

Sunflower

Hi everyone, it's Lisa here and today Iwould like to share with you a birthday card which I've made with the SNB Sunflower digi stamp which you can find in the store here

I used a paper shaper to give the flower some lift and used vintage photo distress stickles and pale gold liquid pearls in the centre of the sunflower.

You can find more details of how I made this card (including the sewing free ruffle ribbon) over at my blog

Heeeeere's.......Marcy!

Hi, and welcome!

It's Wednesday, so that means it's Anne-Marie here....and I want to share a real sweetie with you today :D.
This cutie's name is Marcy, and you can find her here, in the store..........

Isn't she a sweetheart?

She was a dream to play with, and I really enjoyed makin' this week's creation ...........

I used Promarkers to colour her skin, the cupcake, and her shoes, and her gorgeous hair, and paper-pieced her dress......

How d'ya like her yummy cupcake?  Those are teeny beads, and I threaded more beads onto a piece of gold craft wire....pricked a hole either side of her head, and pushed the wire through, and stuck it down at the back....easy-peasy.....

I adore the way Alison drew the ruffles on her dress.......it was just beggin' to be paper-pieced and glittered up with sparkly Mod Podge!
I remember havin' legs like that....a looooong time ago...ha!
More pics and details on my blog.......come over and see me, why dontcha.........little-applefalls.blogspot.com
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Anne-Marie

Kitten calling

Sometimes we can be to neat you know.  We fuss and obsess over every spot and line - sometimes it's good to just chiil out a bit
This dear little chap is in the shop HERE

And - shock - horror - I did not colour it.  It is such a pretty little sketch that I thought it would look much nicer left well alone.

I made a boy's version as well as a girl's version.  I found lots of colour matching papers and tore the edges - there is no atempt at being neat and tidy - just loose and fun.  All piled up together

You Lift Me Up!

Sharing with you today a lovely image of encouragement and motivation.... You Lift Me Up - a double bonus for  purchase, as you receive an image with a sentiment, and one without!
I've coloured the image with glitter pens, but used chalks for the clouds and sky, for a softer effect.  You can also purchase the kite image without the polaroid frame, or the polaroid frame alone!  I also share the polaroid frame with another SNB image, Rainbow Bird..... again, the feature is coloured with glitter pen, and the background is chalked...
For more details of these creations and all my other SNB adventures, please visit my blog and say hello! Thanks for peepin'!

Sheep

Hi! this is Grandma  Bonnie, I am so honored to be able to create for Stretch 'N Bubbles (SNB) on their Design Team.  This week i chose to make a cupcake card using the cute sheep found here.

What i did:
I used my cricut/gypsy to make the cupcake card base by using the Sweetreats cartridge.  I used different image layers to create this card. I also enlarged the frosting and reduced it to get the two layers.  I used the adorable sheep image from Stretch ''N Bubble.  I have thought of many sentiments for this card, but made only one card this week.  Some other sentiments you might consider are:
How are "ewe", Been thinking about "ewe" and "Ewe" are so special to me!

Copics used:
fleece- B60, 63
face, legs-E51, 53

nose, feet- C3

Hi everyone. It’s Lisa here again and today I would like to show you a card I’ve made with the beautiful Mayling digi stamp, which you can find in the Stretch n’ Bubbles store here. Mayling is part of the Zen Collection.

I have coloured Mayling with Promarkers and Prismacolor Pencils and the gold trim was added by mixing two different gold embossing powders together and then heat setting.. You can view more details on what I used to make this card on my blog.

Pretty Paisley

Hello, and welcome!

Happy Wednesday to you all...it's me, Anne-Marie, and I'm excited to share a really pretty ickle digi stamp with you!
I've been playin' with this cutie...

It's called Paisley and you can find it in the store here............

As soon as I spotted it, I thought of a few different ways to play with it, and this was one of them..........

How pretty is that?!  I enjoyed colouring up all the pieces (I used Promarkers), and simply arranged them  into this funky flower shape......stuck on a brown diecut flower, topped with a pretty button from my stash.....and popped everything onto tissue paper circles that I'd scrunched up......easypeasy!........and the bottom layer is felt.......super easy!
I thought this would super on a bag........used some flowery DP, and a scrap of green embossed paper....added a couple of pieces of web ribbon, and stuck a LOT of teeny-tiny beads on the top row..........

How easy was that....ha!
There are more photos on my personal blog here ..........would love it if you paid me a visit.

Kitten calling

I am deffinatly in a soppy mood lately - perhaps it's the sunshine?

This is a brand new image from Stretch N Bubbles - lovely and summery - in the shop HERE

I love the there is a big open space in the sun to play with.  I printed the image twice - then I cut out the big sun part - coloured it and embossed it.  Then added a bit of glitter on the raised parts.  It looks really great - you could also cut the sum shape from patterned paper - that would look super

Have fun in the sun!!

Icream Cone, Anyone?

Although I'm in the dead of winter, some of you are hopefully enjoying a really nice summer! So here is a treat to go along with those sunny, summery days... or to brighten a dreary winter one!

I coloured the cone with a Promarker Aqua, to give it a washed uneven look, the icecream scoops are glitter, and a creamy matt (just like icecream) the sprinkles are glittery, and the cherry is nicely glossed! I added some hand stitching and ink distressed the layers... and you can read all about it at my blog!

This ICECREAM CONE image is newly released from SNB.  Do stop by and treat yourself to the new images (and some old ones too!).... thanks for peepin'!

Pup Love- Birthday- 2 ways

Hi there, this is Grandma Bonnie and I used the Pup Love image  to make these two cute cards.  Click on the image name to find them in the shop.

What i did:
I enlarged the largest card and folded the paper in half at the ear and tail so the fold will look crooked, but will be cut out fine.  I paper pieced everything but the nose.  The nose has some black sparkly glitter.  I added some more glitter to the pattern paper.

For the multi-dogs, i printed them off tiny and used the rainbow as my inspiration.  I colored each dog with copics.

Copics used:
Red-R81, 85
Orange- YR15,20
Yellow- Y11, 15
Green- 20, 21
Blue- B000, B02
Indigo- BV000, 01
Violet- V000, V01
Brown, E31, 37
Nose  C5

Saraphena

Hi everyone, it’s Lisa here. I would like to share with you a project which I made with the Stretch n’ Bubbles Saraphena stamp which you find in the SNB store here.

I am a big fan of whimsical stamps and Saraphena has whimsy in bucket loads!

I’ve coloured her with both Letraset Promarkers and Prismacolor Pencils and,  because every fairy needs bling, I’ve added 1mm gems and ultra fine gold glitter to her dress and wings.

You can find more details on how I made this card and more pictures on my blog.

If you’ve used Saraphena too, I’d love to see what you’ve done with her!

All is Calm

Hi, and welcome!

This is my very first DT posting....and my very first card...eek!....for stretchnbubbles.blogspot.com, and I am chuffed to ickle mintballs that I get to play with these fabby digi stamps!
I'm gobsmacked at the diversity of Alison's images.....and if you've not been in the store lately, you should hop over there and have a peek at what's new.....

This week, I got to play with somebody really special .......somebody I've known all my life........and here he is.......tah-dah!!!

The image is All is Calm and he is just adorable!

I wanted to dress him in some funky finery, so he's paper-pieced with Cosmo Cricket:Be Good papers.....added some diecuts stars to the bottom of his gown, and coloured 'em with Promarkers (red and forest green to make the right kind of brown)....
popped him onto a Nestie label, layered onto yet another (red) one.....embossed a piece of the DP (yellow) with a Cuttlebug snowflake folder.....stuck on a creamy coaster....added pwetty, pwetty lace at the bottom (from a market stall)...made a star (ish) shape with more of the lace...popped a diecut set of holly leaves on top....and stuck in a.....ahem...made-by-me stick pin!
Seasonal buttons, threaded with gold wire, on the bottom........a metal Christmas tree shape, with the "hole" filled in with more DP...stuck a pressie button on it.......hung from a diddy button with more gold wire.....and a ton of glittery Mod Podge daubed on almost everything....well, I gotta have shiny!

This is the image you'll find in the store.....unadorned, and waitin' for you to play with him...lol!

I had a ton of fun with this card....hope you like!

Kitten calling

Hay - super cool to have so many new Design team members working with us - welcome to all new comers - we are all so gonna wow you now with loads of new stuff created with Alison's wonderful digital images
As for me - I must be in a soppy mood lately - I really (really (really) ) hate spiders - and when I saw this little chappie in the shop - I thought - aww how cute - fluffy legs!

He is actually a Halloween image - but since did I do what I am told!!

He is in the shop HERE

I wanted to keep the black and white look - with just a pop of colour.  And I was very strong with myself and resisted the hot pink look which I love so much - and went bloke's blue in my quest to make cards more male friendly.

The body is copic coloured, legs are black flower soft (which makes a lovely fluffy look) - the dots are 2 copic coloured - I added think black outlines and matted silver then black and raised - and the edge punched with a cobweb and backed with black

Next year's valentines cards (in red) I think!!!

Tweeter

Here's Tweeter - a fun quirky bird from the new releases at Stretch'N'Bubbles... I couldn't resist, I had to color him yellow and orange (I think it stems from my childhood love of Sesame Street's Big Bird).
Tweeter is coloured glitter pens and raised 'off the card' with foam dots. I love his bright yellow contrasting against the red and black - makes for a warm greeting!  You are very welcome to visit my personal blog, and see the details of this card, and my other SNB creations .... I'll be showcasing new designs this month!

Do pop into the SNB Shop to see all the new images ... they're super! Thanks for peepin'!

Dress Stand #2

Hi Everyone, Grandma Bonnie here!  I am so excited to be on SNB's DT.  I really like it here...i feel so comfortable.  I hope you will enjoy my "creations"!

I am using the Dress Stand #2, click on the name and you will be taken to the shop where the image is located.  It is so pretty!

What i did:
To make one card, i printed off the image on cardstock and then on pattern paper.  I actually used phone book paper for the stand and printed scrapbook paper for the dress.  Next you need to cut out the pieces and glue them on the cardstock image.  Then i cut out the entire image and set up my background for the card and used foam dots to attach the dress stand.  To embellish the dress stand i used ribbon or tulle for the belt and tacked it down the ends using glue dots.  I also added some gems.  I used my cricut/gypsy for the "lipstick" sentiments using gypsy wanderings cartridge.   I added some hand stamped images to the background to make it look like a bulletin board. I also punched some leaves using a MS punch.

To see each individual card you can visit my blog by clicking here.

I love craft challenges as they inspire me to create new card designs and use methods and products I've never used before.
