Pumpkin Time!

Hello, and welcome!

It's Wednesday, so it's me, Anne-Marie, back to show you another fabby digi stamp from Stretch 'n' Bubbles and this time I'd like to show you what I did with the Pumpkin digi stamp........

Couldn't resist making this into an Autumn garland to hang on my pine dresser..........

I simply printed the stamp onto pretty cardstock, used a Promarker to add a little shadowing, cut some toning leaves, added some buttons, and threaded onto string!

That Pumpkin looks good enough to eat.....Ha!

You have all seen those dreadful adverts on TV to get yourself 'beach ready' - don't you just hate them? All you need is the sun and the sea - and you are soooo beach ready - well this is just perfect beach ready as far as I am concerned.
I am hanging on to summer!  I was tempted a bit to look at Christmas.  The nights are starting to draw in and there is am Autumn chill in the air - but I am digging my heels in and pushing for the last of the summer days.

So this wonderful surf board image is just perfect - in the shop HERE
So then I found some sunny theme paper - and cut some 'waves' - made an oval for the sun and embossed it with rays (glittered and gemmed too of course)

Hi, and Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing with you one of my favourite images - Tweeter!

This image reminds my of a stitchery or a primitive country print. With that inspiration, my Clean & Simple card is really clean and simple.  Aside of the chalk in edging the image layer, the only colour added to the image is the stitching!  After printing the image, I used stem stitch, and stitched away!

Oh Happy Day!

Hello, and welcome!

Another Wednesday, and another card from me, Anne-Marie!

Today's digi stamp from the store is called Oh Happy Day, and you can click on the picture below to be taken straight there................

As the name suggests, this image could be used for so many different occasions, and I think it couldn't fail to make the recipient smile.........

Here's what I did with it......kept it pretty simple, so that ickle worm could shine....ha!.........

I used K&CO papers, and did a little hand-stitchin' around the edges.......

I also stitched around the stamp, to give it that homespun look, and used Promarkers to colour, and some white gel pen on the centre of that gorgeous flower...........now, tell me you smiled when you saw that ickle worm, chompin' away....wouldn't this make a cute one to send to somebody who needs a smile?.....Yep......I know you're nodding your head.....HAAAA!

I just love sofy silly ideas.  I saw this bug and instantly knew what to do - I wanted a get-well theme.

- But how about a teen's birthday!!!  - if mine is anything to go by - it would be perfect for that.

Bonnie Imp!

Today I share with you an older image.... but oh so darling! From the Little Imps range, here is Bonnie!

I created a simple page for my daughter's album, using a large coloured digi image of Bonnie.  She is coloured with a water pen, and markers, and accented with stardust glitter pens... you are welcome to read more about this page and my other SNB creations, by visiting my personal blog!

It's me, Anne-Marie........and today I'm bringing a simply wonderful Christmas stamp for your perusal......ooo, that's a big word.....where did that come from?....perusal ......like the sound of that....ha!

Anyway, I'd like you to meet this happy chappy................

Squared Reindeer

Doesn't he just make ya want to play with him?  He was a lot of fun to colour up with my trusty Promarkers...........

Used some Papermania background paper, coloured the background of the stamp with more Promarkers, added some Golden Rod Stickles..........

And tied a jingle bell to that cute antler..........aawwww........doesn't he look sweet?

That.......ahem....."little" nose just had to have some sparkley Mod Podge....and there he is....all ready to do his annual duty on Christmas Eve!

BUT............did you know that "he" can be turned into a "she"?......yep....Alison thinks of everything, and has added a freebie hair bow....just in case.....wouldn't "she" look sweet with a bright, shiny PINK nose?.....haaaahaaaa!

I don't often make a quick simple card - like to tiddle about too much - but I needed to send something now for someone whi had done something sweet for me.

This kite is a new image from Stretch N Bubbles - in the SHOP HERE

The backing paper is My Mind's Eye - and just perfect.  All I did was mat with a turquoise, wrap with Baker's twine and colour the kite in primary colours.  The panel is raised too.

Foo Ling

Hi... here's a creation for you, using one of my favourite SNB images (I have so many favourites!) This uses Foo-Ling, from the Su-She Collection... and they are all so cute! I created a bookmark....

I printed the image much larger than I would use for a card.... I coloured her with markers and chalks, and used glaze pens and stardust glitter pens to accent the kimono, teapot and flowers....I added a black cardstock matt and trimmed round her.  Of course the image is left embellishment free, since she needs to stay flat in a book!  I used a soft satin ribbon through her hair, and on the ends, I knotted two floral glass beads....

Hi, Grandma Bonnie sharing another SNB (Stretch 'n' Bubbles) cute digital image.  This image is called "Bunny" and you can find it here in the store.

What i did:
I cased a card in the Trends Card magazine.  Colored in the "bunny" digital image and cut it out.  I printed the sentiment in word and changed the color to match the card.

Leafy Tree

Good Morning!!

Another Wednesday, so it's me, Anne-Marie, and today I'm goin' all Autumn........yep, I'm ready for the days to get chillier, and shorter, and all those glorious colours to burst onto the scene.....can ya tell I'm not a hot summer person....ha!

In keeping with those autumnal feelings, today I'm showing you a card using this beautiful Leafy Tree which you can find in the SNB store.

Isn't that a lovely image?  I used Promarkers to colour, and the DPs are from Hot Off The Press...........

I made a digital frame to go around this fabby tree.....and if you want to know what the material is, under the sentiment, pop over to my personal blog.........bet you'll never guess what it is....Ha!

I love a twist on words - being a calligrapher I spend hours with just text.  And this 'Bird' day really took my fancy - in the SHOP HERE

I think it would do for a male card as well as a female so I have tried to keep it as both.

Copic colouring (of course) - but kept fairly light and simple.  The shapes are a nestabilities - one of the labels.  And the big brown shape is embossed with the candles folder from cuttlebug

Preparing for Christmas...

How are your crafting preparations for the Christmas season?  I've started to make my cards, and gift cards as well.... here is a simple gift card using the Squared Holly image...

I've flipped the image, coloured with stardust pens, and used a wonderfully embossed gold paper... I trimmed the image out completely, and used a beautiful pearly card base.  You can read more about this creation at my personal blog.
